Post and Beam Construction/ Repairs

We can construct a new porch, garden structure or orangery using traditional post and beam construction methods.

If you have a property that is constructed using these methods but needs some TLC we specialise in carrying out on site repairs. We can splice repair the timbers with scarf, half lap and pegged mortice and tenon joints removing the rotten timber and replacing it with new Oak, saving your property while retaining its rustic and original charm.

We can also reseal the oak construction to any masonry with traditional Oakum caulking helping to keep the building breathable and prevent locking in any unwanted moisture.
